Seniors at Fremont High School, Fremont Learning Center and Archbishop Bergan High School are invited to apply for a Hometown Scholarship
Please submit applications between February 1st and April 1st
We have partnered with the Fremont Area Community Foundation to accept applications for the RVR Bank Hometown Support Scholarship. Just go to http://www.facfoundation.org/scholarships/ to apply.
The Fremont Area Community Foundation utilizes an online application system called Foundant to accept scholarship applications. The portal is available from February 1st to April 1st each year. If you are considered eligible, you will automatically be included in the applicant pool for the Hometown Support Scholarship.
The RVR Bank Hometown Career Support Scholarship is funded by RVR Bank. It was created to help those outstanding and talented students who plan to attend a post-secondary vocational, trade or technical school in Nebraska or Midland University. We hope it will help to supply skilled persons to the Fremont area, reducing shortages in our local labor supply. A total of three $1,500 scholarships will be awarded.
Seniors at Blair Public School, Arlington Public School and Fort Calhoun Public School are invited to apply for a Hometown Scholarship
Please submit applications between February 1st and April 1st
Scholarship applications are available by downloading the application below. Please complete the application and submit to the bank by April 1st. These scholarship are awarded to help those outstanding and talented students who plan to attend a post-secondary school in Nebraska after graduation. Our selection emphasis is toward students planning to go into the agri-business or the skilled workforce which we hope in turn brings graduates back to our communities to fill needed jobs in the local labor supply. A total of eight $500 scholarships will be given out between the three communities.
Completed scholarships can be emailed to Cindy Slykhuis at cslykhuis@rvr.bank or dropped off at any RVR Bank location in Blair, Arlington or Fremont. Additionally, they can be mailed to RVR Bank, Attn. Cindy Slykhuis, PO Box 549, Fremont, NE 68026.
